Within the last months Watt Drive has been integrated as a fully independent branch into the WEG company. Watt Drive thus takes over the whole responsibility for the distribution of the entire product range of WEG in Austria. Within the WEG company, Watt Drive stays being the competence centre for the development and production of gearboxes and geared motors and will be more expanded in the future on this view.
Watt Drive Antriebstechnik GmbH has designed its internet presence www.wattdrive.com completely new. The totally revised and new structured internet presence excels in attractive design, clear styling and quick access to important services. The presence has been brought into line with the new corporate design in cause of the relaunch.
At the turn of the year Watt Drive Antriebstechnik GmbH has been taken over by the internationally active WEG company. Since that, the development of new MAS® geared motors is in progress. The completion and presentation of the new product lines is planned in the 1. quarter 2013. Through combination of high efficient WEG motors (IE2 and IE3) with the modular gear system of Watt Drive, future-proof drive packages are created for numerous customer applications.

Watt Drive presents its new MAS® catalogue with product news and additional technical information. To bring near the flexibility of the WATT system to our customer, a new chapter with customer optimised drive solutions has been integrated in the new catalogue. High efficiency motors and the motor integrated drive controller INVEOR broaden the product range with futureoriented energy saving drive components.
From November 22nd to 24th, Watt Drive presents itself on the SPS fair together with our partner of frequency inverters, Delta, in hall 3 booth no. 3-310. Main topics of this year’s exhibition are energy efficiency, safety & security as well as industrial identification.
The interactive product software cat4CAD version 4.1.1182.75, which is available now, has been complemented by worm gear series W and the new helical bevel gear K139. WATT customers thus have the possibility to configure the new drives easily and to process the required data (2D/3D drawings, PDF dimension drawings, project files, etc.) user-friendly. Just click button „cat4CAD update“ in the main menu of cat4CAD to perform the update.
The new version 4.1.1096.63 of the interactive product software „cat4CAD“ from Watt Drive allows a time-saving, efficient drive configuration of the entire MAS® programme. The project file that is created by the customer provides shorter reaction time of the WATT sales technicians.
Watt Drive moves with the times in all fields. This means expecially for our EUSAS® motors an adaption to the latest standards and norms on the one hand, adaption to advancing customer requirements on the other. Our new IE2 motor series offers efficiency on a high level and thereby gives our customers numerous advantages.
From the 4th to the 8th of April Watt Drive presents itself on the Hannover Fair hall 14, booth K27. The Hannover Fair joins 13 leading fairs at one place and presents an intelligent interplay of the industrial branches. For companies with electrical and mechanical drive technology the Hannover Fair is the first choice worldwide.
Through its flexibility at great internationality Watt Drive is a matchless player in drive technique. This uniqueness stands and falls at the judgement of our customers. The delivery reliability to the customers, mean ing our promise to due delivery, was not appropriate in the year 2010.
